Our president, Joan Downing has been the mainstay here at Chairs Limited. Instrumental in the founding of Chairs Limited, Joan has 27 years vested in the office furnishings industry, and 24 with Chairs Limited alone. A more knowledgeable individual on chairs and the overall industry is rare.
Darlene Hall is our primary go to person for anything administrative. Darlene ensures your order is processed properly through our build stage, that it gets delivered in a timely manner, and that it ultimately is paid for when you are happy.
Dean Wade from our production department has a wide range of skills that lends well to our building process, and can take on any individual task that we can think of. Originally from Gambo, NL, Dean brings with him the work ethic, and positive outlook that Newfoundlanders are well known for.
We like to call Joe Murray, Never say no Joe. A more dedicated and organized individual is a rare find, and Joe is the model of just such a person. Joe has been instrumental in implementing LEAN Manufacturing principals into our build process, including Value Stream Mapping, 5S and Kanban. What Joe does on a daily basis can be boiled down to one statement, “Joe preserves value for the customer, by eliminating waste in our processes.” Joe also oversees our ISO 9001:2008 Quality System, Inventory Control and shipping and receiving, and keeps a warehouse that you can eat off the floor.
